Wiesenhof Gastro-Service is a division of Allfein Feinkost GmbH & Co. KG, which is a 100% subsidiary of the PHW Group. The family-owned company consists of more than 45 subsidiaries. The PHW Group has firmly established itself in the German agricultural and food industry as a producer of high-quality animal and plant-based protein products. The core business and therefore the DNA is poultry integration. In parallel, the PHW Group has been intensively engaged with the technologies and raw materials of the plant-based sector since 2013, and have thus successively established and expanded our second business field of alternative protein sources. In this business field as well, the company aims to transfer the successful vertical integration model from the poultry sector to the alternative protein sources business field. A first milestone was reached in 2023 with the founding of VTEC Ingredients GmbH, through which the existing PHW infrastructure is systematically connected with upstream value chains. The focus is on the procurement, biotechnological processing and production of raw materials and auxiliary substances for the manufacture of plant-based sausage, meat and fish substitute products.

The PHW Group is convinced that both animal and plant-based proteins are part of a healthy and balanced nutrition. Therefore the family-owned company stands for the protein mix of the future. The extensive food portfolio is complemented by dietary supplements for the health sector. All subsidiaries together employ approximately 11,300 employees* across Europe, and in the fiscal year 2024/2025 a total turnover of approximately 4.1 billion euros was generated. In addition, we bear responsibility for around 1,000 agricultural partnerships. The administrative headquarters is located in Visbek-Rechterfeld (Lower Saxony).
